Pipes & Drums
The RCL Br. 21 Pipes & Drums are a community pipe band which primarily play in street parades around the lower mainland and Fraser Valley. The present band, formed in 1990 (see history); practices in the Veteran Hall at the branch every Wednesday at 7:30PM.
Uniform of the band is Argyle day jacket and the Davidson tartan kilt.
Under the direction of returning Pipe Major Rob Campbell in 2006, there has been a resurgence in the band. The number of members has grown considerably, and we are planning to participate in many more parades and competitions.
All new pipers and drummers are very welcome (we will even take gr. 1). Our band will also teach from scratch those that have the determination and are eager to learn.
